Lionmight

Diwa de Leon, also known as Lionmight (formerly String Player Gamer), is a composer, music producer, and performer with over 20 years of experience. He is the composer for Fox’s and Warner Bros.’ The Cleaning Lady (Season 4), bringing a unique blend of symphonic, electronic, and traditional Filipino instruments like the hegalong, kulintang, and kubing to the score.

Lionmight has performed at events such as MAGFest and VGMCon and released albums like Bards & Bows, Undertale: Strings of Determination, and Pluckhead: A Cuphead String. Album.

Samantha Ballard is a harpist, arranger, and recording artist based in Winnipeg, Canada. Ro Panuganti Acoustic Experience

Ro Panuganti is a progressive rock/metal musician, songwriter, producer best known for arranging game/anime/movie scores for metal, guitar work on indie game soundtracks, and VFX-fueled music video production. In addition to cover work, Ro’s work has included MINTROCKET’s Dave the Diver, Nitro Gen Omega, and his band “Prog XP” has performed across the U.S. including Ongakuvania III and Super MAGFest.

With a background of blues, rock, jazz, metal, and more, the Acoustic Experience will feature holiday classics, beloved and modern game scores, singalongs, and the eclectic, joyous, technical music you love in its coziest form yet.

Tiggs and David Gibson McLean are professional musicians primarily working in the video game and anime industries. Collectively they have recorded for Cowboy Bebop, Sony’s EVO Championship Series, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, PUBG Mobile, Arknights, AFK Journey, Deathbattle, Wuthering Waves, and more soon to be announced! They have been performers/panelists at conventions internationally including PAX East, Anime North, Halcon, Magstock, and Super Magfest.

For this year’s Ongaku Overdrive Holiday Charity Show they are excited to be performing an acoustic guitar and vocal set featuring arrangements from games, pop culture, and classic holiday songs!

Jer Roque

Jer Roque is a pianist who infuses elements of classical, jazz, pop, and rock into his solo piano arrangements. He happily reharmonizes and mashes up video game music, putting a new spin on classic video game music tunes. Jer is known for occasional shenanigans. Legend has it that Jer once got an entire audience to perform the DK Rap.

Current projects are streaming on Twitch & YouTube, and contributing to the occasional VGM community album. He performs with the bands Playing With Power & Marshall Art. Previous projects include The Spoony Bards, Arc Impulse, & chocoBop.
